As we’ve mentioned recently, VIVIDA is on an exciting path of growth and expansion, and have just recently moved to a bright new office in the vivid and colourful Neal’s Yard in Central London.
It naturally follows, with great excitement, that I can now announce new team member… Me – Blasco Goes Jr!
My role in VIVIDA
I am joining as the new Creative Partnerships Director for VIVIDA. As we continue to grow and projects are keeping us busy, I will be taking responsibility to further develop the business by building new partnerships and strengthening our existing network.
I will be hosting meetings and interact with agencies and brands across sector and industry in order to build partnerships. I want to help educate about the different opportunities within visual storytelling, including VR, AR, animation, video and more, to show how using different technologies can deliver creative content, as this is our core focus and a true passion.
I will work closely with Simeon to grow the business and increase the visibility of VIVIDA.
My vision for VIVIDA going forward
This will help us establish and maintain relationships with new partners and work with them to execute innovative work to interact with the internal business and their customers.
Until now, VIVIDA have been building a strong portfolio of work, but I will be bringing new initiatives and utilising my experience to continue this success. My knowledge and experience of working in advertising and media will largely add to our marketing efforts.
The idea is to implement marketing and increase our partnerships to elevate the business within the fields of VR and AR.
My learning & career path
I have been exposed to and learnt so much from working across the media and advertising landscape, as well as eCommerce, programmatic, publishing, events and much more. A few credits have to be given to my past employers which include Haymarket and Dennis Publishing, Groupon, Tracx, Cannes Lions Festivals and Brandmovers.
I have a real passion and strong drive to work in the media industry, and over 11 years of experience have led me to working at VIVIDA. This opportunity to build something using technology to create new stories and engagement for clients and customers really excites me.
My journey to VIVIDA & more facts
After first meeting Simeon, it seemed as if we had known each other for years. We share the same passion and have the same ideas of how to tackle growing VIVIDA and the business excited me with the opportunity that we now have to build a successful company.
Also, my interest in video and technology was a key factor when choosing VIVIDA. Based on conversations with clients, I see that marketing’s future is heavily influenced by it and will help to shape the consumer’s journey through this new format of storytelling.
There is more to myself than just a workhorse. My interest in media comes from doing a degree at University of East London in Media Studies back in 2006. Also as a natural speaker (well I like to think so!) I have also worked on the other side of the camera when working for SportsTonightLive and London Live doing TV presenting for football shows (how cool is that?!). I am an enthusiastic traveller, having travelled throughout the globe, with my favourite destinations being Sydney, Phuket, Barcelona and Toronto. In addition to this, I do love my sport and frequently play football each week, so if anyone ever needs a player, feel free to get in touch as I am available to be a ringer!
